Kristine Sa I missed Anime Expo and couldn't get tickets for Comic-Con, so I needed to go somewhere to get my anime fix badly. As luck would have it, my friend Victor informed me that there was a convention happening in Fresno, CA. This convention was called Ani-Jam and was held on August 18-19 2007. The reason why this convention came up on Victor's notice was the fact that Kristine Sa was a guest performer, and Victor was an avid Kristine Sa fan. I mean, I was from San Diego and he was from Danville. Fresno was far away from both of us, but nothing could stop him from seeing Kristine Sa and I decided to go along for the ride. A very looong ride. I actually took the Amtrak to Victor's area and he drove to Ani-Jam which was conveniently along our way back to school. Ani-Jam was a very small convention, but it was just at the starting years of its life so it's understandable. We were there from 10am to 9pm and it wasn't boring at all. The convention had more of a personal feel to it which was a very welcome change after getting use to conventions with so many sponsors and vendors. I actually attended a lot of panels which i usually don't get to do. I also got to meet DJ Jinnai who is a cool DJ who specializes in mixing anime themes. Anyway, I've heard Kristine Sa before from Victor, but I never thought I would see her perform and I'm glad I did. She is a very talented individual who puts her fans first and it shows very much. She gets the crowd participating in her songs and was even kind enough to walk toward the back of the hall to give the fans hidden a chance to be noticed.
